Senior Advisor, UK Impact Investing Institute / Former CEO UBS Wealth UK
Jamie Broderick is a senior advisor to the newly-launched Impact Investing Institute in London, which aspires to be an important resource in developing the market infrastructure for impact investment in the UK. The Institute, which is funded by several UK Government agencies, as well as financial service providers in the City of London, has emerged as an institutionalisation of the work of the Social Impact Implementation Taskforce, which was commissioned by the UK Prime Minister in 2018 and led by Dame Elizabeth Corley of Allianz Global Investors.
Jamie retired at the end of 2017 as head of UBS’s wealth management business in the UK. Previously, he had been Head of Europe at JPMorgan Asset Management, also based in London. He started his career in asset management at Wellington Management Company in Boston. Jamie has an AB degree from Harvard College, and did doctoral studies at the University of Chicago in Linguistics and Near Eastern Languages and Civilisations.
