Suggested Tour Programs for Istanbul and Beyond


The unique victory of the nature; Cappadocia

Day 1 Istanbul – Cappadocia

After breakfast at the hotel departure from the hotel to the Airport for the flight Nevsehir or Kayseri Airports via Istanbul. Upon arrival transfer to Cappadocia. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to Goreme Open Air Museum and visit the churches where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Various panoramic viewpoints of castles and fairy chimneys such as Esentepe for Goreme valley, Uchisar and its castle, Pigeon Valley. Then transfer to Kaymakli Underground City, the place where early Christians hid from persecutors. After the tour return to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 2 Cappadocia

Optional balloon tour early in the morning. Meet at the hotel lobby in the morning and visit to Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Drive to Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak river, the longest river of Turkey. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 3 Cappadocia – Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, time at leisure till the departure time. Transfer to Nevsehir or Kayseri Airports for the flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel and day at leisure
Overnight in Istanbul.

The history and the nature, October 2019

Day 1 Istanbul – Izmir – Selcuk

After breakfast at the hotel departure from the hotel to the Airport for the flight to Izmir. Upon arrival transfer to Selcuk for Ephesus Antique City visit, impressive structures will be seen including the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Theatre and Odeon; one of the most popular ancient sites of Turkey with many acres of carefully excavated historical ruins. After Ephesus, visit the House of the Virgin Mary and Church of St. John.
Lunch at a local restaurant and after lunch transfer to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Selcuk.

Day 2 Selcuk - Şirince – İzmir

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Sirince. Sirince is a village of 600 inhabitants located in 8 kilometers away from Selçuk. This pretty old Orthodox village was once called Cirkince ("ugly"). Indeed its habitants gave this name on purpose as they did not want to be bothered by foreigners nor to share the beauty of their village. All the narrow streets of the village belong to the women, selling handcrafts of all kinds, olive oil. Another attraction of Sirince is its wine: try its taste in small cafés or wineyards.
Lunch will be served in Sirince. After lunch drive back to Izmir for the flight back Istanbul.

Alternative 1 Istanbul Old Peninsula

After breakfast at the hotel proceed for a full day Istanbul City Tour at the “Old Peninsula” where everything about Istanbul started.. Hagia Sophia, the Church of the Divine Wisdom, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. Blue Mosque, facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue İznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Hippodrome, center of sportive events (chariot races, athletics) and political activities of the old city. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the hippodrome.
Grand Covered Bazaar, most attractive shopping center and the biggest "souk" in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenir. Lunch at a Turkish Restaurant. Topkapı Palace, residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, kitchen, Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy section etc. Live guide commentary is not allowed in special sections. Sultan Tombs, there are five tombs of Ottoman Sultans within the graveyard at Hagia sophia. The ceramic panels are the most beautiful examples of the 16th century with purple, red, green and blue flower motives. Prince robes and a small piece from the Kaaba covers are displayed on the sarcophaguses.
After the tour, return to the hotel.

Alternative 2 Istanbul Two Continents & Bosphorus tour

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day city tour.. Dolmabahçe Palace, recent residence for Ottoman Sultans built by two Ottoman architects Karabet and Nikogos Balyan on a 110.000 m² area and served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Famous with great collection of European antiquity, furniture and 4.5 tons chandelier, the palace has 285 rooms and 46 halls. Bosphorus Bridge, unique chance to step from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) in 2 minutes. Çamlıca Hill, famous for its beautiful sunset and the widest bird’s eye panoramic view of İstanbul from Marmara Sea to the Black Sea, gives a chance to see the Bosphorus and Golden Horn from one of the highest and most appealing places of the city. Lunch will be served in a Turkish Restaurant. Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers etc.
Later on sail on the Bosphorus with a private yatch ...
After the tour, return to the hotel.
